The Johnson magnetic disc brake is currently available in 11 models. Foot mounted, this brake unit is built with fabricated steel mechanism and separate enclosed control units for DC or AC supplies. It is used for applications such as mechanical handling equipment, cranes, winches, conveyers and mills etc. Emergency stop brakes are often installed on flange of crane winding drum.

Air gap dust and drip protected by neoprene gaiter
Terminal box IP55 enclosure
