Well suited to use with overhead cranes, hoist forklifts, mine locomotive, transformers, generators and elevators, the fechral edge wound resistor from Speed-O-Controls was designed and built to meet the most demanding mechanical and electrical requirements in the industry. Its flat stainless steel electrical alloy, wounds on its edge to form a helical resistance element, which is then mounted on solid porcelain cores. This makes the edge wound resistors interchangeable with most major brand manufacturers.
